Who else is excited for thing change in weather?! Fall is in the air… and I’m going to try my best to share some Summer sessions and get caught up in the next few weeks.
Here are some favorites from a Spring/Summer session earlier in the year in Centreville Virginia.
This was just a total dream session for me... from location, to this sweet family, to their outfit choices and how incredibly adorable these little ones are. Everything was so perfect! Narrowing down a few favorites was impossible. Here are some (ok a lot of) favorites from their family session at Glenview Mansion in Rockville, Maryland.
Hope you are all enjoying your summer! Keeping the blogging trend alive today ... here are some pictures from a Spring session at Eleanor C. Lawrence Park in Chantilly, VA. This is a great location with open green spaces, bridges, stone walls and pathways! Perfect for a family session.
This session was so much fun for me... so relaxing so sweet! I got to just go and capture these sisters as they were doing their daily activities. I love how candid and real these images are and you get a sense of each little ones personality!!

I have been a little behind on updating the blog so here is an attempt to share some from early in the year ... We really lucked out for these Winter outdoor sessions... given how cold and rainy the late winter and spring was. Here are a few favorites from this 1st Birthday Milestone Family Session in Alexandra, Virginia
I'm not sure how its August already! I have been a little behind on updating the blog so here is an attempt to share some from early in the year (and by early I mean January/February) :-) Given how cold and rainy the late winter and spring was we sort of lucked out for my 2 January sessions outdoors! Here are some favorites from a session in Montgomery County, MD.
I have been patiently waiting for the weather to warm up and get back outdoors for family sessions! I really really miss it... If you follow me on Instagram You are probably sick of seeing pictures of my kids ;-) I promise to share more client work on there as soon as the weather gods allow it (which I'm hoping is this weekend since I have 3 sessions scheduled)
But in the meantime... I figured now is a good time to share those awesome Fall Family Mini Session that I never got around to blogging.

Ok so the little one in this mommas belly... she is 4 months old already! I just saw this past weekend and I can't believe how quickly time is flying by. Also, this makes me realize I'm now sharing Fall pictures :-) I guess better late than never.
Look at how sweet these images are. Toddlers are always unpredictable at sessions but I truly try to make it fun for them... we get the few posed pictures out of the way at the beginning and then really let them call a few shots... also tickle pictures , leaf throwing pictures, cuddling with momma pictures turn out so much cuter than the posed ones.
I have some of my most favorite sibling shots from this session! I just love how much they loved on each other... and some of the expressions are just so priceless. I hope you love this one as much as I do
One more from the Fall! I know I'm so behind... but these are some of my favorite sessions from the year. Fall is just so gorgeous and I love getting to capture milestones for families.

Another one of these near and dear to my heart sessions! I have lost count now of how long I've known her... I've lost count of how many beautiful memories we've cherished together! Capturing her little one was just so incredibly special to me. Love you so much N family!!!!
This one is pretty near & dear to my heart! I love all my sessions but when close friends trust you with capturing their families its definitely special for me. Their little one just reminds me of my own 2 year old so much... its not just me I promise ... others see it too! She's a total doll and such a calm sweetheart... I LOVED capturing this milestone in her life and totally was swooning over how adorable she looked in that dress :-)

After so many requests I have been offering Mini-Newborn sessions for clients in the Northern Virginia area. Its great for anyone that doesn't want a lot of images, just a few for announcements and you can still book these and capture them from the comfort of your home.

I can't believe how quickly some of these babies are growing up... its only when discussing 6 month or 1 year sessions I'm realizing a blog post is way over due.
Here are a few favorites from this session.
In home sessions are perfect when you don't want to pack a diaper bag and leave the comfort of a familiar space. I love to capture both the posed shots of babies in props as well as lifestyle images of little ones in Mom & Dad's arms as well as siblings. This session in Virginia was perfect and I was so glad the weather allowed for some beautiful outdoor family images.
